Hi! I am Karen Berry and I am a Kindergarten Teacher at Clyde Elementary. I graduated from Hardin Simmons University in 1990 and also began my teaching career the same year. I am beginning my 14th year at Clyde Elementary and my 18th year as an educator. My husband and I have two boys, Brett (11—6th grade) and Brandon (8—3rd grade). Hello! I’m Becky Caffey and I’m excited to be teaching Kindergarten this year. I graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. I’m proud to say this will be my eighteenth year in education….all at Clyde Elementary! Clyde Elementary was my first teaching job and I have been very happy here! I have been blessed to teach a variety of subjects including: 4th grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, Reading Recovery, Title 1 Math, and now Kindergarten. My husband Dean is also a teacher for Clyde I.S.D. We have 2 wonderful children who attend Clyde I.S.D., Kyla (12) and Zach (7). I am looking forward to making this year a wonderful experience for your child. Thank you for sharing them with us!

My name is Tammy Davis and I have the privilege of teaching kindergarten. I enjoy the excitement that kindergarten students show with each new learning experience. This is my 15th year as an educator and all of my teaching experiences has been in the Clyde school system. I have two children. My son graduated from Clyde High School several years ago and my daughter just started High school this year. I look forward to having the opportunity to enjoy another wonderful school year.

Hello! My name is Shannon Edgar and this is my first year at Clyde Elementary. I am very excited to be here! I am a graduate from Hardin-Simmons University with a degree in Elementary Education, and a minor in Special Education. This is my first year teaching, but I am looking forward to all the wonderful things we have planned for this year! I have an older sister and brother-in-law, and a younger brother. I have a niece who is a bundle of fun, and in November, I have a second niece on the way! I am excited to be a part of the Bulldog spirit here at Clyde Elementary, and a part of Clyde America! I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year!! GO BULLDOGS!

Hello, my name is Cherry Laws and I’m very excited to be back in Kindergarten. I have taught a total of twenty years, twelve years in Clyde and fourteen of those years in Kindergarten. My husband and I are the parents of two wonderful boys. The oldest is a freshman in college and the youngest is a sophomore in high school. Thank you for allowing me to spend my days with your children. We are going to have a great year!

Hi! My name is Trella Satterfield and I truly love teaching Kindergarten. I graduated from Hardin Simmons University. I have been teaching at Clyde Elementary going on six years. I have taught Kindergarten for five. I have three wonderful daughters. Ashlyn is a Junior at Clyde High School, Amber is an eighth grader at Clyde Junior High, and Abby is a fourth grader at Clyde Intermediate. I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to work with children.

Hello, my name is Margie Bell. I am starting my second year here at Clyde Elementary in the Kindergarten department. I am excited to be working with children with such a strong thirst for knowledge. My husband and I have 3 wonderful daughters attending CISD. Taylor, a Junior at the high school, Morgan who will be in 6th grade at the Junior High, and Banner who is in the 1st grade here at the Elementary.
