My name is Kloette Henson.  This is my fifth year to teach first grade and my sixteenth year as an educator.  I have a Bachelor’s degree from West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas.  My husband and I have two boys, Ryan a freshman at Dallas Baptist University, and Josh, a sophomore at Clyde High School.  I love teaching first grade, and I am very proud to be a part of Clyde CISD.

My name is Stephanie Hilcher and I love teaching at Clyde Elementary. I am a graduate of Clyde High School and Texas State University.  I have taught school for twenty years, eighteen at Clyde Elementary.  I have a son, Caston, who is a sophomore at Clyde High School and a daughter, Carae’, who is an eighth grader at Clyde Jr. High.  I love watching my children and former students play football and basketball for the Clyde Bulldogs.  I hope everyone has a wonderful year!

I am Cristal Mauldin and I love being a First Grade teacher at Clyde Elementary.  I graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This is my tenth year as an educator with nine of that being at Clyde Elementary. My husband and I are very proud of our two boys, Chandler (10) and Tucker (6), both who attend Clyde CISD.  We also have welcomed a baby girl, Morgan, who will turn one in December. I am very excited about our upcoming year and can’t wait to start this 1st grade journey with your child.

Howdy! My name is Karen McMillan and I teach first grade at Clyde Elementary. I graduated from Texas A & M with a B.B.A. in Finance. Three years later I received my teaching certification from Angelo State University. This is my eleventh year to teach at Clyde Elementary. My husband and I have two children. Mason is in the 7th grade and Carissa is in the 2nd grade. I am excited about this year and about all of the learning that will be going on.

Hello! I am Teresa Parks and I am excited to be teaching First Grade. I graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This is my third year as an educator at Clyde Elementary. My husband and I are very proud of our two children, Ethan (9) and Makenah (7), who both attend Clyde CISD. I look forward to teaching your children this school year.

Hi, I am DeAun Yarbrough. I have been a first grade teacher at Clyde Elementary for 20 years. I graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, where I was born and raised. My husband, Paul and I have lived on our ranch in Callahan County for 25 years. We have three daughters. Shannon, 27, is a physician in Lubbock. Brooke, 22, is a biology major in her last semester at ACU. (Both graduated from Clyde High School.) Devon, 12, is in the seventh grade at Clyde Jr. High. Go Bulldogs!!

My name is Beverly Chesser.  I am a para-professional working to help the First Grade teachers in any way I can.  I am starting my 23rd year here at Clyde Elem.   I have worked  in First Grade for 17 years.  My job  is to help  the students who need a little extra help with their school work.  I love my job and all the wonderful friends that I work with.  I am married and we have two married children and 2 grandchildren ages 17  and 13 and another on the way.  I'm very happy here.
