Message from Nurse Connel:
I work at both the High School and Junior High campuses. I graduated from Mary Meek School of Nursing and have been an R.N. for almost 30 years. I have done hospital nursing and have been a school nurse in Clyde since 1990. I work for the best school district in Texas and with the best school nurses in Texas. My goal is to help students learn to take responsibility for their health so that they will grow to be healthy adults.

Message from Nurse Nickel:
I work at the Intermediate campus. I graduated from The University of Tulsa and have been a nurse for 29 years. In Oklahoma, I worked in both hospitals and as a school nurse for special needs students. My husband's job brought us to Texas in 1997 so I started working for Clyde CISD. There is not a better place to work!

Message from Nurse Byrom:
I am the nurse at the elementary campus. I graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education, and then went to The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio to complete my B.S. in nursing. This is my second year in Clyde. I have spent the prior six years working on a part time basis with preschool children and staying at home with my two daughters. Prior to that, I worked in Labor and Delivery and a Women’s and Children’s clinic in East Texas for several years. I am very glad to be in school nursing so that I can combine my profession with my love for children.

Clyde CISD is fortunate to have Mrs. Grogan in our district! She works at both the Junior High and High School.
