Students visit the Technology Lab every other week during their scheduled 45 minute class time. Students will learn skills such as typing, practice academic skills, how to use a word processor and create a Power Point presentation. Students will conduct research online, and explore websites related to what they are learning in the core subjects of English, Social Studies, Math, Science, and Reading.
The goal of the Technology Lab is to provide skills, tools and activites that enhance student learning. We can visit museums and planets online that we cannot access first hand. We also learn about and practice presentation skills so that we can become more comfortable speaking in front of our peers.

The month of May is CAREER EXPLORATION MONTH!!!

All grade levels will have an opportunity to research and explore different career fields that interest each child. We will also be having a Career Fair Friday May 7 during school. The Career Fair will feature different professions and students will have the opportunity to hear from experts in each field. We are very excited about the research and fun we will have during this time!

I will engage students in the process of academic and social growth; I will encourage students to be productive and empower them to grow into successful citizens of the world.
